About Blackboard at HPU

Hawai'i Pacific University uses the Blackboard Learning Management System.  Instructors teaching distance learning courses should use Blackboard to create intuitively navigable digital learning environments.  Blackboard helps to organize course learning materials, activities, and assessments.  It can also help to facilitate meaningful online interaction between instructors and students and among students to create a sense of community online. Instructors never having used Blackboard before, or those who may need a refresher may find the following resources valuable in creating a course in Blackboard and facilitating learning online.  Please use the HPU Course Mapping Template and the Online Programs Course Template Model in conjunction with the resources we have provided below.
