WHAT HPU ALUMNI SAY

"After retiring from the military, my priority was to be more present for my family while also continuing my education. Hawai‘i Pacific University made that possible through flexible learning options that allowed me to truly balance both. The Schofield Barracks military campus, along with the support of the VA and VR&E programs, played a huge role in my success. The Schofield military campus was especially instrumental in helping me stay on track and making my transition from active duty to full-time student feel seamless.
My experience at HPU has been incredibly positive and has exceeded my expectations. I am genuinely grateful for the support, opportunities, and encouragement I have received. I felt empowered to step outside my comfort zone and try new experiences, which showed me that this path is possible, not just for me, but also for other military members and their families navigating a similar transition."

WHAT HPU ALUMNI SAY

One of my mentors in the army went through this same program and I had such respect for him. I really feel that at HPU I’ve had some fantastic and extraordinarily knowledgeable professors, from seasoned academics to retired military officers and practitioners in their fields. They’re able to provide me their knowledge and their experiences to help me grow as both a student and a good member of society."

“I chose to go to Hawaii Pacific University because of their outreach to the military community. I’m a former enlisted military person, and I was able to very easily use my GI Bill benefits at HPU. They have a dedicated VA office, and working with the VA office is very easy and seamless. They have actual classrooms on the four bases located on Oahu, and the classes are scheduled such that they begin after normal working hours, and use an eight week structure so it’s very easy to cover a subject completely  and then move on to a different subject.”
