Campus Activities Board (CAB)

About CAB

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student organization who works under the Office of Student Engagement to assist in creating and planning large-scale events that foster connection and make HPU a more vibrant, engaging community for all students. Through its events, CAB brings a valuable student voice to campus life, strengthening bonds and cultivating a true sense of belonging. Each year, CAB creates experiences that spark lasting memories for the HPU community.

The CAB Executive Board includes the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Administration Director, Membership Director, Public Relations Director, Graphic Designer, and seven Event Coordinators. Members are selected through an application and interview process and serve one-year terms. Executive Board members are also eligible for scholarships.

The Executive Board leads year-round event planning for the HPU community, organizing everything from large annual productions- like ‘Ohana Fall Feast, Destress Fest, and Da Shark Show- to unique passion projects designed by individual Event Coordinators.

Beyond the Executive Board, CAB recruits General Members each semester. By helping host events, General Members earn points that can be redeemed for fun prizes at the end of the semester.
