Emerging Leader Retreat

Your goals shouldn't stop at your college acceptance; the Emerging Leaders Retreat is a positive first step for first generation college students to truly reflect on their college goals. It is a great way for first year students to dive into their college experience, meet new and like-minded people, and begin to explore campus involvement opportunities.

During this retreat, students will begin to explore their leadership potential, understand how different personalities interact with each other, and learn how to make the most of their college experience.  Through the context of leadership, student will participate in small group activities, outline involvement opportunities, and collaborate with offices across the university.

Are you interested in developing your leadership skills and becoming active in the HPU community? What are you waiting for?! Registration goes live July 2021!

The 2021 Emerging Leaders Retreat will take place on Saturday, August 21. Participants will meet for check in at Aloha Tower Marketplace. Students will be provided lunch in Pier Nine by Sam Choy and an Emerging Leader T-shirt.
