Register for Tournament
Mixer and information Night:
- Join other gamers at our Open Arena Mixer on October 16th at 6:00 p.m. for Overwatch and October 17th at 6:00 p.m. for League of Legends and meet players from other teams or players looking to join up!
- All game systems will be open to guests. On October 25th at 5:30 p.m. bring your team and begin working
on your strategy. - To compete in the Scholarship tournament, sign-up for the Elimination
Flight at the front desk. Registration deadline is October 17th.
Register online at hpu.edu/esports/tournament” - Teams will be entered into flight brackets on a first come basis.
- All matches must be played at the HPU eSports arena.

Team Requirements:
- 6 players for Overwatch
- 5 players for League of Legends
- Optional:
- 1 coach
- 1 alternate
Prize Pool:
- Up to $15,000 scholarship for League of Legends and up to $18,000 scholarship for Overwatch to winning team ($3,000 per player, some
exclusions may apply. See tournament rules for more information.) - HPU eSports Scholarship Series T-shirts for all teams (must be present at all scholarship tournament dates for your series)
- eSports SWAG
Terms and Conditions:
- All scholarship awards are for undergraduate study only, and may be used only for full-time study at the University (12 credits or more, per semester)
- The scholarship award is non-transferable, and may be used only by the recipient if they are enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits or more, per semester).
- The scholarship award is for one academic year (fall and spring), is not renewable, and must be used in consecutive semesters (fall and spring).
- $3,000 ($1,500 per semester) per team member if the team member is not currently enrolled at HPU at the time of winning the series.
- The scholarship award may be combined with additional HPU institutional awards, however only one Scholarship Series award may be used per year.
- The total of all your institutional awards (including your scholarship series award) cannot exceed the cost of regular tuition. If this were to occur, you would not be able to use the full value of your scholarship award.
