About Esports

Hawai‘i Pacific University Esports Arena is proud to be the first collegiate Esports Arena in the state of Hawaii and a leader in the growing world of collegiate Esports. Our mission is to provide a world-class facility and resources to support and foster the growth of Esports careers, events, and education at HPU and in the community.

Our Esports facilities boast 30 gaming PCs, 18 Alienware R12 PCs with NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3080s, PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, VR and more. We offer a range of services, including open play, pro and community tournaments, events, rentals and community outreach programs and camps.

We are proud to be the first college in Hawaii to offer competitive scholarships for Esports athletes and support our teams competing in Open and Invitational Tournaments, Collegiate Valorant and local tournaments in addition to the Peach Belt Conference. Our Esports athletes come from varying academic disciplines and are all HPU Shark athletes upholding the values of Pono, Kuleana, and Aloha.

We are dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all who visit and use our facilities. Our staff and volunteers are knowledgeable, friendly, and always eager to help. Whether you're a seasoned Esports competitor or a beginner looking to try something new, our Esports Arena and Teams have something for everyone.
