Non-Degree Application

Take a class as non-degree/guest student

If you want to enroll in a class for credit, but are not admitted into a degree program at Hawaii Pacific University, you may enroll as a non-degree-seeking student. Complete the following steps to register.

1. Complete an initial Sign Up for the Admissions Application
   After submission, you will receive a prompt to check your email for further instructions as to how to setup your application portal.
2. Click the link in your email, and you will be sent to a Create Password page. Please note your password must include letters and numbers.
3. You will then be brought to the Admissions Application portal. Click the “Start a New Application” on the right-hand panel of the portal.
4. Select your application type, you have two options: Undergraduate Application (for Bachelor’s-level students) or Graduate Application (for Master’s-level students).
   A drop-down series of questions will appear, please complete in the following manner:
   - I am applying
            Without the intention of pursuing a degree at HPU
   - I am a
            Non-Degree Applicant (taking some courses and not seeking a degree)
   - I plan to take courses
            Fully online (not affiliated with military base programs)
   - Term
            Summer 2023
5. This will lead you into the application for summer course.
6. Once you have completed your application, remember to press the Submit Your Application button on the far right.
   An email will be sent to you for further instructions on next steps to register.
