As an international student at HPU, Eger initially faced language barriers, a challenge that struck a chord with the audience. He recounted his journey, highlighting the role of HPU's tutoring services, classmates, and University resources. Through their unwavering support, Eger not only conquered obstacles but also graduated with distinction, emerging as a prominent leader in his field.

HPU Dean of the College of Business Mark Rosenbaum, Ph.D., presided over the induction ceremony, underscoring the significance of academic achievement and the values upheld by DMD.

Providing a historical perspective, Leslie Blood, JD, MBA, shed light on the honor society's legacy at HPU. Blood's efforts were pivotal in revitalizing DMD after a temporary hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ceremony marked the conclusion of Alexis Appleyard's tenure as President, alongside Vice President Natasha-Mae Bala. Welcoming the new academic year, Raquel Ongos assumed the presidency, supported by Vice President Paul Lewis, Secretary Sera Lee, Treasurer Angela Choy, and Social Media Head Ruochen Zeng.

Delta Mu Delta - Delta Iota was also actively engaged in community initiatives and professional development this academic year. Hosting esteemed speakers such as Justin Nowack from Hawaiian Airlines, CEO Brittany Zimmerman from Yummet, and distinguished HPU alumni like Matt Smyth and Shue-Jane Thompson, the honor society facilitated enriching dialogues and networking opportunities. Initiatives like the Earth Day Clean the Beach event at Kailua Beach and the CEO Speaker Series underscored Delta Mu Delta's commitment to holistic growth and societal impact.
