Brian is a retired member of the United States Senior Executive Service with 32-years of experience in the U.S. Department of Defense including 24-years of experience in the U.S. Intelligence Community. Over this same period of time, he also completed a 30-year career in the U.S. Navy serving in operational and intelligence staff positions worldwide, retiring at the rank of Captain (O-6). He has completed multiple assignments within the offices of senior policy officials in the U.S. Government, both as a policy official and delivering intelligence support to national security policy development and implementation. He has been an adjunct instructor at HPU since 2009
