THERMO SCIENTIFIC ™ NICOLET ™ IN10 MX INFRARED IMAGING MICROSCOPE
The Nicolet™ iN10 MX equipped with a micro-ATR brings full IR chemical imaging to the world of microscopy. It is ideal for quickly analyzing large sample areas for chemical and physical information. The exceptional sensitivity of the microscope permits point and shoot samples down to 50 microns with no need for liquid nitrogen cooling, while the micro-ATR sampling accessory has a detection limit down to 3 microns. This instrument also enables you to acquire faster mapping with the standard detector within 4.5 minutes for a 1.2 x 1.2 mm area. CMDR uses this instrument to analyze bulk samples of microplastics and microplastics in complex environmental matrices.
The instrument is equipped with OMNIC™ Picta™ software, to allow for the chemical images, size of sample features, and relative distribution in percentages of the sample.
