Join the world's largest student startup competition!
Through our annual competition, students build, scale, and pitch innovative startups.
Challenge: The Hult Prize challenges students to launch for-profit startups that support at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). At the end of the competition, one team will win $1M USD in seed funding to bring their idea to life.
HPU is the first University in Hawaii to participate in the Hult Prize. The winning team from the HPU Startup Challenge will receive $10,000 and go to the Nationals for the Hult Prize to win up to $1M USD in funding to take their business to the next level. This competition is hosted by the John F. Scarpa Entrepreneurial Pathway.
