TESOL FACULTY MEMBER GAVE WORKSHOP TO PAKISTAN TESOL

Assistant Professor of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Maria Levy, Ph.D., gave a workshop to Pakistan TESOL on July 25. This workshop, "Useful Technology for Vocabulary Teaching and Learning," was part of the PakTESOL Webinar Series in collaboration with Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and Fatima Jinnah Women University. Levy presented a number of different applications that can be used to teach and learn English vocabulary. 

PakTESOL is a national organization for English teachers in Pakistan, and its founder is Muhammed Kamal Khan, Ph.D. While at the University of Maryland College Park as a Fulbright scholar, Khan visited HPU in the spring of 2024 through Fulbright's Outreach Lecturing Fund. Khan's home university is AIOU.
