Congratulations to Irina Loyer (BS Marine Biology) for winning the 2026 TESOL Sticker Contest! The TESOL faculty selected her design for expressing what TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is about: Language, culture, and connection.
Also selected from the contest, for a T-shirt Design Award, is a design by Anaïs Smeyers (MA TESOL). Smeyer's design places Hawaiʻi in the center of the globe and highlights the international scope of TESOL: TESOL professionals go abroad to teach English or work with international students and immigrants in the U.S.
