Attention all Sharks! Get ready for a day of excitement, community, and pride at this year’s HPU's Homecoming celebration on Saturday, February 8, at the Shark Tank. This annual, beloved tradition brings together students, faculty, staff, and alumni for an action-packed day of activities, contests, and thrilling basketball matchups against Fresno Pacific University.
HPU students can take advantage of free shuttle services running from Aloha Tower Marketplace and Kalo Terrace to the Shark Tank. Tickets for Homecoming will be available for purchase by clicking here. Students can enter for free with a valid HPU ID.

To get the day started, a pregame activity (for enrolled HPU students only) organized by HPU Campus Activities Board (CAB) kicks off at 3:00 p.m. The Shark Tank is sure to be buzzing with activities that include a dunk tank, photo booth, and food trucks.
Gametime action for all against Fresno Pacific University begins at 4:30 p.m. with the HPU women’s basketball team tipoff, followed by the men’s basketball game at 6:30 p.m. To keep the crowd energized, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host a variety of in-game activities, including contests during timeouts.
Be sure to stick around for the giveaways provided by the athletics department as well, featuring prizes that include a surfboard, boogie board, snorkeling gear, and beach chairs. Plus, don’t miss the faculty and staff basketball games held during halftime of both basketball games, organized by HPU Assistant Professor Adam Burke, Ph.D.
Homecoming 2025 is truly a collaborative event, with various departments and groups coming together to make it memorable experience. The HPU athletics department has taken the lead in organizing Homecoming, with the CAB managing pregame activities, the SAAC overseeing in-game entertainment, and contributions from faculty and staff ensuring a well-rounded experience for all.
