Academic Advising serves as a crucial nexus between students and the University. Academic Advising is often the first place students turn to when they need help or support, no matter what the issue, and it is often the first place anyone at HPU will send students who are in need. 

During peak times, there are not enough hours in the day to accommodate all the students who need assistance, and yet, advisors do not hesitate to go above and beyond to support students through academic struggles and social and emotional challenges. HPU's Academic Advising team is known to serve as counselors, life coaches, academic planners, mentors, cheerleaders, disciplinarians, confidants, educators, and lifesavers.
