Men’s Basketball Team Engages with Youth in the Community

The Men’s Basketball team recently participated in two community service events, representing HPU at the Maemae Elementary School Fitness Day, where the student-athletes directed basketball drills and techniques for elementary students. The Men’s Basketball team also represented HPU at Makalapa Elementary School’s annual Read Aloud & Career Day. This year’s Read Aloud theme was “Be Kind,” which focused on kindness and respecting one another. The Sharks did a fantastic job of living up to that theme, and they provided insight to the students on what it’s like to be a college basketball player.
