MyHPU (my.hpu.edu) is your self-service student portal. If you haven’t already done so, go ahead and login for the first time. Click here for step-by-step instructions on MyHPU Account Creation.

Be sure to sign-in to and/or set up your student email account early this summer to ensure you receive official university communications regarding your student account.

3. ATTEND OUR FIRST 'OHANA CHECK-IN
Click the button above to RSVP for as many as you like! These webinars are designed for the entire family, and we encourage you and your parents/guardians to attend. Each series will focus on “just-in-time” information you need for a great Fall 2024 at HPU!
We will dedicate time at the end of each check-in to answer questions related to the day’s topics for you and your family, or you can submit questions in advance here!
If you’ve already filed your FAFSA, review your financial aid status by double-checking that you’ve submitted all paperwork necessary to receive aid. Financial documents must be verified through MyHPU.

3. LEVEL UP WITH PLACEMENT TESTING
If you are feeling extra ambitious early this summer, consider leveling up through placement testing! Depending on your declared major, you may need to take a writing test, a math test or both. A unique voucher was assigned to you for writing, math, or both depending on the major you selected when you applied.

2. FILL OUT A FERPA AUTHORIZATION FORM
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) is a federal law designed to protect the confidentiality of student records that an institution maintains.
HOW DOES FERPA AFFECT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY?
As an HPU student, only you have access to your education records and student account. Under the FERPA law, HPU cannot disclose personally identifiable information from a student's education records to a third party (INCLUDING A STUDENT'S PARENTS) without the student's prior written authorization.
If you would like your parents or guardians to have access to your student information/account, please click the button above to fill out and sign an Authorization to Release Education Records form, and email the signed copy to registrar@hpu.edu.
3. SUBMIT YOUR OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS AND EXAMS
When you request official high school or college transcripts, have the institution send them to HPU directly. UNFORTUNATELY, WE CANNOT ACCEPT TRANSCRIPTS THAT ARE SENT TO HPU BY STUDENTS AND PARENTS.
Dual credits and other official exam scores such as SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, AP, IB, etc. should also be sent to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE FALL 2024 SEMESTER OPENED ON MARCH 1!
- Submit Your Intent to Enroll Form and $200 Enrollment Deposit (if newly enrolled)
- Submit Your Housing Application and $400 Housing Deposit*
- Return Your Signed On-Campus Housing Agreement & Acceptance Form**
- Receive Your Housing and Roommate Assignment in August
*On-campus housing inventory is limited. If your housing application is received, and no housing is available, you will be informed within three business days that you have been placed on a waitlist.
**After submission of your housing application, a housing and meal plan agreement form will be sent to your HPU email account. Until this agreement form is submitted, your housing is not confirmed. Due to limited housing inventory, you are encouraged to sign and submit your housing agreement form upon receipt.

Step 2 - Click on the Housing Application link in the top menu.
Step 3 - Follow the steps to complete your application.

3. RSVP FOR LIVE 'OHANA CHECK-INS
Our 'Ohana Check-In webinars are a great way for your entire family to get “just-in-time” information you need, as well as answers to any questions you may have about starting as a new student at HPU in Fall 2024.
Each session within a series will cover the same information.
Students and families should attend one session for each series 1 – 8.
“International Focus” sessions provide content specific to international students.
We will dedicate time at the end of each check-in to answer questions for you and your family, or you can also submit questions in advance here!

CONSIDER ENROLLING IN A MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN
Enrolling in a monthly payment plan gives you the ability to conveniently distribute your portion of tuition and fees across manageable monthly installments. Payment plans also help you avoid high interest rates normally seen with traditional loans.
The cost to you is a small, non-refundable enrollment fee of $65 (Fall or Spring terms) and $35 (Summer term) for each term you wish to enroll in a payment plan.

Our Academic Advising team is currently registering all incoming students. If you have submitted your Pre-Registration form but do not have a schedule yet, you can expect an email from your advisor within 2-3 weeks confirming your classes. If you have any questions once you receive your fall schedule, please contact academic advising or make an appointment with your advisor.
If you are waiting on test scores or additional information that may impact your classes, your advisor may need to adjust your fall class schedule once that information is received.

Rental housing is always in high demand in Hawai'i. Honolulu is one of the most desirable cities to live in and one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Because of this, the housing market is very tight both on and off campus, and therefore we encourage you to secure housing as soon as possible.

1. REGISTER FOR NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
New Student Orientation provides fun and engaging sessions and activities to help new students meet other students, navigate HPU's campuses, and learn about academic and co-curricular services and resources.
New full-time first-year, transfer, and visiting/exchange students are required to register for the orientation program. If you have not yet done so, please register here.

Your participation is optional, however registration is required for parents and family members who would like to attend the Parent and Family Member Orientation Program (August 23 - August 24).
Parents and family members may complete this registration form. Please note that there is a registration fee of $100/person.

Students are responsible for knowing and abiding by academic and administrative regulations of the University as stated in the Academic Catalog and Student Handbook. Students, by the act of registration, agree to observe all provisions of the Academic Catalog, Student Handbook, the Code of Student Conduct, any academic handbook or program requirements and all other university policies, procedures, and handbooks.
