The Daughters of Hawai‘i are looking for volunteers for our Welina and Mālama programs at Hānaiakamalama, the Queen Emma Summer Palace.
The Welina program helps with greeting visitors and assisting in Queen Emma’s home. The program consists of a hands-on learning experience that will prepare you to welcome and guide visitors through the museum. If you want to learn more about the life and legacy of the beloved Queen Emma and enjoy meeting new friends and sharing Hawaiʻi’s history, this program is for you!
The Mālama program consists of tasks to help with the daily operations of the Palace. Tasks include cleaning, gardening, light administrative tasks such as filing and mailing, and event setup and cleanup, all to help keep the Palace looking its best! If you like putting your hands to work and getting a little dirty, this program is for you!
