Onika Tirado, Cybersecurity Analyst
Originally from Anaheim, California, Onika grew up in Kapolei, where she has lived for 20 years.
In 2023, Onika decided to switch career paths and joined the Army National Guard. Prior to this, she owned and operated her own coffee shop while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. She is excited at being able to pursue her true passion and looks forward to the opportunities and experiences that await her in this field.
She writes, “My journey has been shaped by a variety of rich experiences, and I am eager to embrace the challenges and rewards that come with this career! "
Malcolm Cosen, Technical Analyst II
Hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico—the city where, in Malcolm’s words, “Bugs Bunny should have turned left”—Malcolm traded the desert for new experiences and found paradise.
Before pursuing a Cybersecurity degree at HPU, he spent a decade in the United States Marine Corps, where he had the chance to visit 12 countries and serve in four combat tours to the Middle East. In August 2020, he began his HPU journey as a student worker with ITS Client Services. “Now, in 2024,” Malcolm says, “I’m thrilled to return to the ITS Ohana and continue growing my professional career with HPU.”
