HPU Information Technology Services (ITS) recently welcomed two new staff members:
Praneeth Kanuganti, Technical Analyst I
Praneeth is originally from Hyderabad, India.
He completed his bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in India. In 2021, Praneeth took a leap of faith and traveled to Hawaiʻi to pursue a Master of Science in Information Science at HPU. He graduated in Spring 2023.
It has been an exciting journey so far, and he is looking forward to new experiences and opportunities.
Starr Rivera, Network Analyst
This year marks Starr’s eighth year at HPU. She joined HPU as a student athlete in 2015, playing for the women's basketball team until 2020.
In 2019, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from HPU, and in 2021, she obtained a B.S. in Computer Science.
Starr started off at ITS as a student worker at Client Services. She then went on to become a Network Field Technician. She is now excited to be working as a Network Analyst. In Starr’s words, “I'm very grateful to be a part of this team and I’m looking forward to this new experience."
