Hawai‘i Pacific University Is Different

That’s the first thing you notice when you visit our campus, because at HPU, the city is our campus. Our facilities are consolidated within a triangle in downtown Honolulu, anchored at our Aloha Tower Marketplace. Beneath Honolulu’s iconic welcoming landmark are waterfront lofts, modern classrooms, meeting spaces, university dining overlooking Honolulu Harbor, an eSports arena and a mix of retail and restaurant-neighbors that makes this a destination unto itself.

Just steps away from Aloha Tower are our newest facilities at Waterfront Plaza, where we house three of our colleges, over twenty classrooms, our student services center, and main library, all in an open-air, mixed-use complex at the gateway to Honolulu’s vibrant Kaka‘ako District.

And, in the heart of the city’s financial district are our colleges of business and professional studies, in the Pioneer Plaza Building on Fort Street Mall, the main walking thoroughfare in downtown Honolulu.

HPU has long been a vital partner in Honolulu, which provides our students with tremendous opportunities for internships and other forms of hands-on learning throughout the business, service and local, state and federal government sectors.
