Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) Students Complete Mentoring Program

Four HTM students, participants of the 2018-19 Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association (HLTA) Generational Mentoring Program, completed the program and were recognized at a commencement luncheon on Monday, April 22. The students were joined by Associate Professor of HTM Wendy Lam, Ph.D. 

The students had the opportunity to establish their personal brand, enhance their leadership skills and build rapport with their mentors. Each student was paired with a seasoned executive from Hawai‘i’s visitor industry. The HPU students worked with mentors, Scott Ingwers, Managing Director and Regional VP, Resorts, Trump International Hotel Waikiki; Julie Arigo, GM, Halepuna Waikiki; Michael Czarcinski, GM, The Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa; and Thoma Foti, GM, The Westin Maui.
