The following services will be available to you during the event:

  • On-Site Admission:

Bring your completed application and supplementary documents for on-site admission and receive your decision on the spot. Go to www.hpu.edu/apply and submit your application for admission.

Freshmen require high school transcripts, SAT or ACT test scores, a personal statement, and an optional letter of recommendation.

Transfers require transcripts from all previous colleges and universities attended; if you have less than 24 transferable credits, high school transcripts will be needed. A personal statement and a letter of recommendation is optional.

  • Financial Aid:

Make a 20-minute appointment and speak with a Financial Aid counselor. Review your current financial aid status and learn more about the next steps. If you need assistance in understanding your award package and funding your education, our Financial Aid counselors are here.

It is highly recommended that you complete the FAFSA beforehand and submit it to HPU so we are able to address specific questions.

  • Academic Advising:

Attend our General Advising Session to learn how classes are chosen for the first semester, the anatomy of a Degree Plan, a brief overview of the General Education Program, how to search and register for classes, and much more. You will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an Academic Advisor who will answer questions you may have regarding degree plans and your particular program requirements.

More detailed degree planning will require a follow-up appointment with your own academic advisor at a later date.

  • Submit Health Clearance Forms:

Before you can begin your studies at HPU, you must provide evidence of health clearance from Tuberculosis (TB) as well as Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR). Visit with an Admission representative to have your immunization records reviewed and processed. Print a copy of the form here to get your immunizations signed off by an MD, DO, PA, APRN, or clinic.

  • Submit Intent to Enroll and $200 Registration Deposit:

Submit an Intent to Enroll form as well as a $200 registration deposit for the Fall. Bring along a completed Intent to Enroll form and a check or money order for $200 to secure your spot at HPU. You may also come and make your $200 deposit online with a credit or debit card at the HPU One-Stop. Print a copy of the form here or fill one out at HPU One-Stop.

  • Transcript Evaluation:

Transfer students, bring in your official or unofficial transcripts from all previous institutions attended to find out exactly how many credits will transfer before registering for classes.

  • Register for Classes:

Representatives from Academic Advising and the Registrar’s Office will be available to assist you with getting registered for Fall classes at HPU.

  • HPU Bookstore:

    Stop by the HPU Bookstore.
