Career Events for Students
The Career Services Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year to bring career opportunities and learning experiences to HPU students and alumni. All of our events are posted on our Career Events Calendar below and announced via Pipeline & HPU Ohana Today emails.
The Career Services Center hosts several Career Development Experiences each year. These events are open to all HPU students & alumni and are excellent opportunities to network with employers, learn more about future career paths, and find full-time & part-time employment as well as internship opportunities.
Information sessions allow students and alumni to meet with employers and recruiters to learn about career opportunities. These are excellent opportunities to make contact with potential employers. We also host these employers for on-campus Information Tables on Fort St. (in front of MP) & at Hawaii Loa Campus to distribute recruiting information and speak to students.
Recent information sessions & tables held at HPU include:
QUEEN'S HEALTH SYSTEMS
NEW YORK LIFE
U.S. MARINE CORPS
GOURMET EVENTS HAWAII
The Career Services Center regularly partners with academic departments & a variety of local and national employers to host Professional Development Events. Workshops include job interviewing skills, resume writing techniques, cover letter assistance, professional networking, etc. The goal of this program is to help students take proactive steps to move forward in their career while they are still in school.
