Update Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016: 9:55 a.m.
Although Tropical Storm Lester is weakening and moving away from the Hawaiian Islands, we should still be cautious of its impact to weather conditions.
The HPU Emergency Operations Team will continue to monitor weather systems. Should unforeseen weather-related issues arise, the campus community will be updated accordingly.

Hurricane Lester continues to approach the state. While the hurricane watch has been lowered for Maui County and Oahu, we should still be prepared for severe and hazardous weather lying just beyond the outer limit of the island’s windward waters.
HPU classes continue as usual.
The HPU Emergency Operations Team will continue to monitor the progress of Hurricane Lester and will update the campus community as needed.

Hurricane Lester continues to approach the state and Oahu is under a hurricane watch. HPU Emergency Operations Team is monitoring the progress of Hurricane Lester and we will update our campus community as the situation progresses.
