Accreditations and Memberships

Accreditations

Hawai'i Pacific University is accredited by the Students meeting in the Psychology Lab with Prof. Brian MetcalfWASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).  The university has been accredited since 1973, and the current accreditation extends to 2022.  The most recent Accreditation Visit Team Report is available here, and the most recent Commission Action Letter regarding the Accreditation Visit is available here.

The School of Education has received accreditation for its education programs (B.Ed. and M.Ed. degrees) by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

The Nursing Program (BSN and MSN degrees) is approved by the Hawai'i Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). 

The Social Work program (BSW and MSW degrees) is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

The new B.S. in Public Health (BSPH) degree program will be applying for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
