Hawai'i Pacific University's Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) degree program is designed to create a generation of problem solvers and decision makers who are experts in creating and using technology to achieve strategic advantage in modern organizations. It is a program that applies the scientific principles of modern systems engineering to the corporate need for operational, decision support and strategic planning information.

MSIS students learn by constructing complex systems using the latest technologies. An integrated approach of experimentation, testing and analysis, leads to an understanding of the importance of well crafted information and knowledge systems.

MSIS graduates will be those indispensable individuals able to create modern systems that significantly improve organizations. They will be project managers, systems creators, strategic planners and innovative leaders.

Classes are offered year-round in a number of venues: (1) in the state-of-the art Frear Technology Center located in downtown Honolulu, (2) at the Windward Oahu Hawaii Loa Campus; (3) on a number of military bases; and (4) as distance education classes conducted online.
