The Center for Student Life and First-Year Programs holds regular on-campus activities and events to enhance your college experience at HPU. These activities are great opportunities to take a break and have fun, and we encourage you to get involved in them. At HPU, your classes will be rigorous and academics will need to be your top priority. You’ll want to balance the academic side of college life with the social side. Participating in on-campus and off-campus activities will help you relieve stress, make new friends, and just have fun. Students can look forward to the following events:
Da Freakshow is HPU’s annual talent show.
Club Carnival features booths by HPU’s Registered Student Organizations at the beginning of each semester.
Halloween Funfest is a "spooktacular" celebration where the entire community is invited. This annual event includes a costume contest, a haunted house, fun activities, and performances by HPU's cheer and dance teams.
Welcome Week occurs during the first week of fall and spring semesters. Events vary, but often includes food, music and a fun kick-off to the semester.
